February Conference Presentation

Recently I have become more interested in researching ways of engaging my ELL students.  I am presenting some of what I learned through my own research and Dr. Sauro's ESL 6063 class in the fall at a conference on Feb 4.  The San Antonio Writing Project is holding its 6th annual teacher conference at UTSA (downtown).  The title of this year's conference is Avoiding Writicide: Valuing Writing in Tough Times. I will be presenting a paper titled "Understanding, Identifying, and Engaging English Language Learners in the Classroom."
