My Writing Heroes

If you are a writer and have never heard of Peter Elbow or William Zinsser, allow mw to introduce to you the best books on writing ever published.  Peter Elbow's book Writing With Power is half writing tips, half support group. In this video he talks about his experiences in graduate school - being kicked out of graduate school for not being able to write.

William Zinsser is my other favorite writer on writing.  My students love his book because he approaches writing in a casual, humorous and easy to understand way.
